The Mel Dodd Jazz Group Featuring Aliyah Rene

SHOWTIMES: 7:30PM AND 9:30PM. Mel Dodd is a jazz keyboardist, band leader, composer and arranger who began playing jazz in the 1970s, studied at UNC Chapel Hill, the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and with the renowned jazz improvisation teacher Charlie Banacos. He led his own jazz group in Boston and Atlanta before making a major career change in 1984 to become a softwaredeveloper and business computer consultant. After forty very interesting and successful years in the software business Mel is now retired and has returned to his first love – Jazz.
